Licensed NLP Sport Practitioner

Are you always able to perform when it really matters?

Have you experienced that the results have varied depending on how much was at stake?

How do you maintain your focus?

Are stress, pressure and lack of control something you experience in your sport? How do you cope with it?

How do you handle unforeseen events and how do you communicate with your coach?

Do you know what drives you: to win or not to be no. 2 ….?

What motivates you?

Would you like to be able to control your emotions?

The list is endless of situations and behaviors that limit performance in sport. You may have experiences that have slowed down your progress.

If you strive to be the best and have the desire and motivation but sometimes lose focus and get overwhelmed by stress…then you have a lot to gain by improving your mental skills.

Sports performances are controlled by your mind

Yes, that’s right. It is about strategies, how you structure your thoughts and how they affect your actions/performance.

In fact, all athletes and trainers can benefit from developing their mental skills. It’s incredibly important to know how you quickly can be reprogram negative beliefs and/or inner dialogue.

When thing doesn’t work out as we’ve planned, it’s easy to begin to thinking negatively. Words like focus and control may seem like strange and alien words and it just doesn’t help that others tell us we are great.

Words can do magic or pull you down in a second. The scenarios you are imagining may have a more devastating effect than you think…

Internal and external dialogue (thoughts) creates feelings that in turn influence behavior. When you feel insecure, nervous, unprepared or… anything but strong, prepared, confident and determined, it may impact your performance negatively.  It can be unconscious thoughts that make some athletes feel they cannot control their own emotions.

Like everything else, you can learn how to control your emotions – when you know how.

NLP is a very effective method, based on the belief that all behavior has a structure and that this structure can be modeled, learned and changed. While studying NLP you will learn to recognize your own patterns and mental programs. You will learn how to change your state and gain a more flexible mind. This will give you more mental freedom and strength when performing. You will be able to control your thoughts, which in turn will change the way you feel, and that will have a positive effect on your performance.

The question is then:

Do you want to be able to turn negative thoughts and regain focus?

Do you want to control stress and feel self-confident?

Is your performance depending on your mental strength? -What do you do to build that mastering skill…?

NLP has been described as the new science in terms of personal development, regardless of the area in question, but it is so much more…
